Each quarter we recognize a member of our team who stands out with great work and character that exemplifies our company values. We’re not only doing this to honor an extraordinary individual, but also to share our stories with the world and to bring our teams from both of our offices closer together.
We’ve selected Divya Varma as the Q1 2017 MVP because of her initiative, problem solving, and leadership which have been quintessential to the progress of our FanXP product and overall team dynamics.
Divya joined the team in September 2016 as a Software Engineer after the successful completion of her Masters Computer Science from University of Texas at Dallas.

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Witness Aurora Borealis in Norway or Alaska
Pasta (any thing loaded with cheese or chocolate)
What hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
Singing and playing Ukulele, Playing Tennis
What is your favorite quote?

How do you define success?
A milestone in your life that gives you happiness and little satisfaction but even more motivation to outperform your current self.
If you could be present and witness any historical event, which would it be and why?
First manned spaceflight. It is an inspirational event for me due to the visionaries who turned dream of millions into reality and courageous astronauts who dared to venture into interstellar space.
What do you consider to be the most important technical innovation during your lifetime?
Handheld devices (and of course the hardware, firmware and software that all together accomplish this modern day wonder)
What are two fun or interesting facts about yourself we may be surprised to know?
Was actively involved in musical bands in college and past organizations as a female vocalist, have also recorded a track for a local album released in 2009.

Why did you decide you wanted to join the Tixsee team?
The unique vision of Tixsee working towards optimizing “Fan Experiences” impressed me at first. Later when I interacted with the team and people associated with Tixsee I found like minded motivated minds. I was sure of the opportunities to learn and grow here.

What are two career lessons you’ve learned since joining Tixsee?
Become a better listener and open to feedback from team members so as to build a better version of the product.
Become more solution oriented by having alternate idea and fall backs planned ahead for any functionality.
What hopes do you have for the industries that use TIXSEE’s product?
Such industries will be able to evolve with the future of sports/entertainment media, innovate game/event day participation and optimize fan experience beyond stadium walls.
What has been the most interesting thing you’ve worked on at Tixsee? And why?

All (we have different shades of personality here, and all are fun in their own way)
What advice would you give a person considering working at Tixsee?
You will experience tremendous growth on both technical and management side. Here you will get enough flexibility to work independently, explore new ideas and technologies which can then be accomplished by collaborating with a dedicated team.

Our Red and Green theme day during Christmas week where everyone was struggling not to be flashy.
